Vergason Technology, Inc. Establishes Shanghai Tech Center

Van Etten, NY- September 15, 2006 - Vergason Technology, Inc. (VTI) announces the opening of a new state-of-the-art technical and business office in Shanghai, China. Through their membership in the Association for Manufacturing Technology (AMT), VTI has established their first Chinese office within the AMT Shanghai Technical Center. The office will be both a showroom for VTI vacuum based thin-film coating systems as well as a technical support center.

"This expansion into China represents a major milestone in VTI's history," according to VTI president Gary Vergason. "China is one of the fastest growing global marketplaces for our equipment. Establishing an office in Shanghai will allow VTI to quickly deploy technical service engineers and support to a rapidly growing customer base in China. In addition, the Shanghai Technical Center is located within the Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone, allowing us a simplified process for showcasing our innovative PVD technology to new customers in China."
